Join Us for a Sand Dunes Workshop – Learn & Get Involved
Hello,
The Culdaff Development Association, with support from Community Foundation Ireland, invites you to a Sand Dunes Workshop led by Dr Kevin Lynch from the University of Galway.
Over two sessions (Saturday, 26th April & Saturday, 7th June 2025), you will learn practical ways to care for and strengthen these natural coastal barriers.
Whether you live locally or have a keen interest in coastal conservation, this is a great opportunity to get involved.
The workshop is open to participants aged 16+, on Saturday 26th April we are also running a Kids Dune Day for children aged 5–12. While parents attend the training, children will take part in interactive activities and games covering marine ecosystems, dune formation, and habitat preservation. To make a family booking, please secure a parent place via Eventbrite, and we will follow up with a kids’ registration form.
